I want to be all I can be and more, in each of my days;

Yet, I wish so strongly, to forget not my peace,

His Presence filling magic in silent star-lit nights.

The two faces of mine don't seem to match at all;

I know they're mere versions of me,

Why then search for any of them, why call?

Reading the uncertainty stemming from familiar faces,

I look knowingly, only to step away further, faster;

What is it about diversions making sure I'll last longer?

Stronger, better, nicer- Is that You?

Still the tears.

Lock them tight.

The vulnerable part of you metamorphoses, today.

Celebrate this epic moment in your life.

You might have been an emotional mess.

Now, not!

You're strong, beautiful, sensible and classy.

Free the wings you had kept tied together for so long.

I'll be here no matter what

You were worried to feel no stress until yesterday.

Today, you're so anxious that you feel frozen.

You swallow repeatedly on account of a dry mouth.

You breathe short, fiery, frequent, raspy breaths.

Result- You find that you're left oxygen-deprived.

You fumble with your phone, wondering whom to call.

You're talking to yourself, thinking up a solution.

You hear me screaming in your mind-

"Is this what I've taught you for so long??"

STOP.

I'm not saying any of that!

I want you to be honest with me.

So what if you're scared?

Will lying about it help?

How can I start loving myself?

Start small.

Anything drastic can seem unappealing.

Consider yourself to be a separate individual.

You know it's easy for you to love others.

Give this person in you the same kind of love.

Speak to him/her like you would to a victim of abuse.

Habits are addictive

Habits turn subconscious.

Live a life based on these alone;

Chances are, you won't ever realize it to regret it!

Snap out of your trance to breathe the moment though;

The future you'll find, will give you several stories,

Stories worthy of being told!

Sometimes, when you can't see the team,

You think you are alone;

In reality, they're all out there, exactly as before,

Watching, waiting, contemplating.

Will you be distracted and lose the moment?

Or will you act while they look for someone to lead??

It is a glorious new day.

Seize it!
