What really matters is You, Here and Now

At the most important times of your life, temptation resides deep within your being.

It is the parasite that eats you up from your very core.

Stop it from entering into your heart.

Don't let it penetrate into your mind.

You know exactly where you ought to be focusing.

Are you worrying about the future instead?

Or Are you lost in faint memories from your past?

Web-trapped?

How many hours/day do you spend on the internet?

For most of us, it has become an uncontrollable, overpowering urge to-

• complete reading every last article we're subscribed to, even if our lives were at stake.
• befriend increasing numbers of people on every social networking site there is.
• derive praise from someone we may not really know, but are certain we do.
• pour our hearts to complete strangers and seek the love we can't seem to give ourselves.
• go back to them each day lest our online **friends** feel ignored.

  

Do you feel remorse every single time??

Leap Forward

It may be tiring. It might be exasperating. It may invoke self-pity.

But don't be fooled.

Your mind is only playing tricks on you.

You want to win.

Look beyond the temptations

It is an odd thing about the human mind.

You want a job that will pay when you're actually meant to study.

Yet, you want to read every textbook because you feel incompetent at work.

You long for a vacation to rid yourself of your hectic schedule.

Yet, you might pull your hair out while on leave for lack of anything else to do.

You'll HAVE it and then PAY!

Your body needs as much care as you would give to a new-born baby.

If you take liberties with it, YOU are the one who is going to have to pay.

Stick your nose to the grindstone

You can always dream big dreams.

But their success depends on YOU.

Their fruition depends on your current choices.

Temptations are small, petty and short-term.

It is a given-

They won't excite you when you've spent yourself out.

I am not trying to take the joy of living away from you.

Live.

Take risks.

Learn your life lessons in your own time.
