Rub the sleep out of your eyes

You may go about explaining several things to so many;

But learn from simple people, the skills they teach you.

They might not dream the big dreams you've dreamed,

They may not seem at all, competitively aggressive;

But they know what happiness is to them- respect that!

They know how to live in the now and accommodate.

Accredit them for they exude confidence to perfection,

Thriving with heads held high in a world ready to crush.

Look within yourself; what do you see?

A hard-working self; intelligent and goal oriented?

A sincere, obedient, sensibly-diplomatic job candidate?

A conscientous, reliable, dedicated, caring enthusiast?

And yet, you think that you're not enough?

Sunny side up! ;)

Life is easy.

Success, fame, adulation, power, money;

It'll all be yours, if you truly want it.

We pile ourselves with so many expectations;

And fall flat on our faces, if nothing comes off it.

When a storm blows your bright umbrella backwards;

You most certainly don't need a new one right then.

Turn it around and steady it against the wind;

It's about trial and error, planning and persisting.

Today is a new day.

Don't carry with you the negativity of past failure.

How does it feel?

How does it feel to step into the ocean and stand?

Do you fear getting sucked in, disappearing into sand;

As it slips swiftly and precariously beneath your feet?

Do you hyperventilate; thinking, now you're surely beat?

Do you cry out loud; struggling, to safety return?

Or Do you relish coarse sand-grains, deftly as they turn;

Gushing in the tide, through gaps between your toes?

Do you embrace the love, feeling the touch that knows?

Faith is You

You're working very hard.

You're extremely dedicated and sincere.

You've got an accurate and powerful memory.

You're a fast learner.

You are in control.

You have larger issues to concentrate on.

This is one of the many milestones you must cross.

YOU are the most important in this race.

God is guiding you every step of the way.

Identify your true self

You understand that something is different.

But you don't want to believe it to be true.

Don't let denial hold on to you for long.

Time is of the essence.

We have worked so very hard to get to where we are.

I could get down on my knees and cry with you, too.

But this is war.

There isn't an iota of space for any emotional drama.

I refuse to surrender for as long as I am alive.

It doesn't matter if we've got to start from scratch.

We will build a larger, stronger empire- faster.

Down is not out- Get up!

Where there is stress, paralysis follows.

What is the pressure all about?

Remember that you're doing this solely for YOU.

You train with all your heart for one big day.

It would make sense to be your best then, wouldn't it?

Constricting your airways in fear would be moronic.

You're doing a fabulous job and you know it.

Flaunt it!

No, not to anyone else.

Proclaim it proudly to yourself in the mirror.

Realize that without confidence, you're dead meat.

Sparkle in the crowd- arrive!

Everybody is intelligent.

When it matters, they are all hard-working.

What is the difference between you and every other?

What makes YOU stand out?

Why should you win?

Because you pray??

Almost everyone does that.

Besides, God's love isn't subject to bribery, is it?

If it teases your ego, it'll make you win

Sometimes, the lamp you're lighting, adamantly resists.

But you're strong-willed.

You face the fear of burning yourself.

And go on to overcome it.

Your heart beats wildly in it's cage.

Yet, you're surprisingly calm and spirited.

The matchsticks, you find, are so easy to strike.

They don't break this time.

You're evidently, quite pleased with yourself.

You bring the glowing match closer to the wick.
