... In the root Of One Heart ...

How many do you know that'd take rejection with understanding?

How many would think of your upliftment still?

How many would continue to be friends of yours?

How many would shower you with their unconditional love?

I know of someone who loves me still;

I feel Him talking to my heart,

I hear Him teaching me where to cut corners,

I find Him asking me to look beyond-

At the greater good, at understanding, at forgiveness, at kindness.

Orientation helps

It's hard to start from scratch, a journey you'd once quit;

But I'm a tough girl and I know I can win if I want to.

Today, while at the temple, I said my usual prayer,

And then waited, as always, to hear God's reply to me;

Three-quarters of the wisdom here, I receive from Him.

Somebody once told me that humans are too intelligent,

That they manage to believe whatever they want to;

So, God could very well be a made-up proposition-

A legend someone created to lighten their own heart.

I wondered as I sat there, if it was me I've always heard;

And so, I debated on and off, arguing, taking sides.

What does your heart think?

When you look into His eyes and know,

No other could ever look at you, this way;

Is it the sculptor's trumpet to blow?

Or Is it His presence, promising, with you to stay?

When you return His gaze, upon you fixated,

Instead of shifting shyly, your eyes not meeting;

Is it you that hath your self-confidence berated?

Or Is it Him, lessons on faith, teaching?

When you're free of every embarrassment,

In the whole duration that you're just with Him;

Can anybody ever match that sentiment?

Or Of His love, is this only the rim?

Let your soul dance in the spotlight

We're all pretenders, in one way or another.

No, it ain't our fault- society demands it.

I've battled social phobia for long.

I still do.

I sing all day, but not if you ask me to.

I write, shying from the embarrassment of being judged.

"All the world's a stage", Shakespeare quoted.

How do you live then, if you've got stage-fright?

You could take deep breaths.

You could give yourself a pep talk.

You could pace about the place rapidly.

You could faint in the midst of a panic attack.

I pray.

The source and You

In the wake of the storm, with dedication you've fought.

The lull, thereafter, might have left you distraught.

When the energies don't flow, in your heart, no more,

When you're so sapped that you can't see no shore;

When you pray for your meditative peace to return,

When you wish to do more than just struggle and yearn;

Take a cue from the drop of water that falls,

The ripple in the quiet, the Light of faith calls.

Listen to the gentle breeze caressing your skin,

Whispered secrets, comforting your soul within.

Confessions are for the soul

In most people and their actions, you see God.

Some others cause you to doubt His very existence.

You know that your Lord is true though.

Each memory from the past reminds you of His mercies.

Ask Him the silliest of questions you may have.

Confide in Him when you think He might be unreal.

Pause.

Gift yourself your time

God cleans your slate out for YOU to paint again.

He undoes the evil, so you can believe again.

He brings unexpected calm, repelling the anxiety away.

He sits beside you, celebrating your life with you.

He wakes you up, reminding you to live, to breathe.

He gives you exactly what you desire.

All you have to do is ask, believe and say thanks.

Melt into your Creator's lap

There is one sun, one God, one energy source.

There is one YOU.

Everything else can get confusing sometimes.

Remember where to go when you're lost.

God is kind to be sharing His plans with you.

He gives you your own time on lease.

He gives you extensions when you ask.

He cures your headaches when you can't think.

He soothes your eyes when your vision is a blur.

He says, "It is okay" when you can't forgive yourself.

Bear the torch, light up the dark alleys!

Take tone from monotonous.

Grab the route map from routine.

Where the flame on the candle of hope burns bright-

There is the certainty of every goal being completed.

What kind of person do you want to be?

Think of where your happiness stems from.

Imbibe each quality into every cell of your body.

Don't doubt.

God promises to walk you through.

Have complete confidence in His word.

Paint your picture true

You've been worried- not about your goal though.

Certain issues in your life have come to the fore.

You wonder about what kind of life you'll live.

You often think about where you're headed.

The achievements are one aspect.

But what is your purpose??

You do realize that this is an inappropriate time.

  

D-day is too close.

You find yourself swinging to and fro in your mind.

I want to bring you relief.

Web-trapped?

How many hours/day do you spend on the internet?

For most of us, it has become an uncontrollable, overpowering urge to-

• complete reading every last article we're subscribed to, even if our lives were at stake.
• befriend increasing numbers of people on every social networking site there is.
• derive praise from someone we may not really know, but are certain we do.
• pour our hearts to complete strangers and seek the love we can't seem to give ourselves.
• go back to them each day lest our online **friends** feel ignored.

  

Do you feel remorse every single time??

The Magic of YOU

Your day is a blank canvas.

You've barely just begun.

Don't let the colours cloud your senses all at once.

Stay calm.

You ARE in control.

There ALWAYS is a way out! :)

God has a wonderful balance.

He knows exactly what you can handle-

A whole lot more than you think you can. :)

Know, for sure, that He always turns you around.

Even in pitch dark, He points you towards the light.

Life eventually does give you a reason to smile- it's true!
